I love that we also got the kids version of a drink when we are both in our mid-twenties!! They are so cute! Plus they contain a lot less sugar, who knew?!

Also since I have been home I have had the opportunity to spend countless hours with my niece and nephew! What can I say? They are cute and pretty much the best! This is Easter Day!

Literally in Limbo

Life at the moment has been very interesting...I feel like I really am in Limbo.
I just finished up my last semester at BYU-Idaho and am currently awaiting for the fall semester to come so that I can do my student teaching and officially graduate! I am having a hard time with the job search because I can only work until August because my life will then be dedicated to school and teaching.

In trying to stay positive about my life...

1. I got a new calling in my branch for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as a Family Home Evening Group Leader and so far that is going good, I have a great friend that I get to work with.

2. Even though my family drives me crazy sometimes, I still LOVE them and am very grateful for them. My youngest sister turned 18 today and is officially an adult, boy do I feel old!

3. I have many great friends that bless me on a daily basis. I really do know that each one was meant to be in my life for a reason.

4. I live close to the temple and get to enjoy the blessings the come from it on a regular basis.

5. I have the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!!

Even though I feel like life at the moment for me is in that limbo stage, I still know that there is a plan for me and that I just need to have patience and trust in the Lord that everything will work out the way that it is supposed to!!

I've been spending all my time just thinking about you, I don't know what to do...............

I just want to say that at this stage of my life I am finding it very difficult, in my mind, to keep guy friends as friends! This is very hard for me, but it is working, and that's all I am going to say.......about that.

Life is going good, just still in Rexburg going to school. The winter semester is half way over and I am so excited for spring to almost be here! I love all of my roommates and I have been blessed to have many friendships developed!! Only 3 semesters (after this one) until student teaching!! :)

SURPRISE!!!!!

I have not written in forever!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been so busy with life and I just currently started another semester at BYU-Idaho!! I have 3 semesters plus student teaching left!! So I just had to write about this amazing thing that happened to me this past week!!

This is one of my best guy friends and his name is Cory. On Sunday, January 10, 2009, I was completely shocked when I arrived home and found him at my apartment complex!! (He currently lives in California, so this is why I was shocked)!!

I recieved a text at church from him asking when I got out of church? I thought that that was a random question but I answered and asked the same thing!! He said Two! Yes I texted during church, but I was very grateful that I did!!

I arrived at my apartment complex to see him wondering around on the second floor, I looked at him and was like, hey!! and I was so dumbfounded, speechless and in shock that I was like, "What are you doing here??" He told me, I gave him a hug and then was like, "You lied to me!!" He said, "Yeah I did I wanted to surprise you!" What a nice friend!! He drove out of his way to come and visit!! :) He stayed for a little while, we talked, and then he had to leave because he had to drive home to be to work the next day! I was sad that he had to leave because I haven't seen him since July, and what can I say, I love him!! and I am very grateful that he cares about me and is part of my life!!!

"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..."

I know it's a random title but I think it fits very well with my mood! I have had an awesome, but hard 2 weeks, lots of ups and downs. The days that currently seem to bring me the most joy our Sundays because they remind me of the wonderful blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which I am so very thankful for!!!!!!!!

The Lord has blessed me so much in my life, especially with the many people that are in it that remind me constantly of why I here and doing what I am doing. This past week brought me so much joy in particular because a man from my mission, in Jacksonville Illinois, was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he know joins the rest of his family, The Jess Family is now all members!! I also received a phone call from his lovely daughter Karli, and it just made my day, I was surprised she remembered me. I also was priviledged to get an envelope in the mail from my mission containing his baptismal program, in which I was included so it also made me feel extra special!!!

Well family life is going okay, just trying to have fun and stay positive! School starts in 3 weeks! I am so excited but am also kind of dreading it because let's be serious, who wants to take Calculus 2?? Definitely not me, I am only taking it because I have to, I most definitely do not want to ever teach it!

Blah!

School has only been out for a week and I am so ready to go back. I have been home in AZ for a week, 6 left to go, and I am going nuts!!! I did well in school, 3 A's & 3 B's, a lot better than the Fall semester. I miss Rexburg like crazy but I know I am supposed to be at home at this time and I need to be positive and enjoy it because I never know when it might end. I do love my family, don't get me wrong, but sometimes they just drive me crazy and I feel like I don't belong.

Since being home I have got to see a lot of friends, which I have missed dearly, and on my first Sunday home I already got a calling in my branch, random I know, but it's for a reason so I am going to try and do my best with the time that I have it for.

P.S. My last day of school I became addicted to cuddling! :)

Whitney Is Married!!!!!!!

One of my dearest mission companions, Sister Whitney Bills, was married on May 29,2009 in the Bountiful Utah Temple for Time & All Eternity. I had the wonderful blessing and privledge of being invited to attend this special event in her life, and of course I cried.
I feel so blessed to know her and for the opportunity to love her and serve with her. I am so very grateful that the Lord placed her in my life, she is in it for a reason and this I truly know! I know that we will definitely be friends for life and throughout the eternities!
Couple of her mission companions!!!!!

Now presenting Mr. & Mrs. Jonathan Kenney!!!
